Over 1,200 Bicycles Donated to Charities in 2023

Last year, Momabikes renewed its commitment to several major charitable organizations by offering what we do best: bicycles. With a clear goal of helping, we set out to increase our donations in 2023.

We collaborated with leading organizations such as Bicicletas Sin Fronteras, the Alberto Contador Foundation, and El Buen Samaritano Foundation to bring opportunities and bicycles to those who need them most.

Last year, we dedicated 10% of our online profits to these causes, resulting in a total donation of 1,286 bicycles.

The Alberto Contador Foundation received 384. Did you know they are behind an incredible project called Skoda Bicis para la Vida? They not only deliver refurbished bikes to people in social exclusion, both in Spain and abroad, but also promote the use of bicycles as eco-friendly and healthy transportation. It’s fantastic to give a second life to bikes that might otherwise become waste.

Bicicletas Sin Fronteras was one of the main beneficiaries, receiving 857 bicycles. Their work is inspiring: they promote education, development, and integration in Senegal, especially for children and young people in vulnerable rural areas. These bicycles are not just vehicles; they are tools for equal opportunities and social mobility.

El Buen Samaritano, a foundation in Madrid, received 45 bicycles. They are doing incredible work in the recovery and social, family, and labor integration of people with mental health issues.

These donations are not just numbers on a paper. They are a testament to our commitment to making the world a better place and helping those who need it.
